Q: Where do The Good Spices originate?
A: Watkins goes the extra mile to find the very best of the world's
herb and spice crop. Premium Jamaican Allspice; choice Turkish bay leaves;
high-oil Korintje cassia (cinnamon) from Sumatra; the best nutmegs from the
East and West Indies; stemless Dalmatian sage from Greece and Croatia. Also,
fancy-grade Jamaican and Cochin ginger, and the finest peppercorns from
Sumatra and India's Malabar Coast.

A: Yes, Watkins has a full catalog of nearly 400 products.

Q: How long do herbs and spices last?
A: Generally, herbs and ground spices will retain their freshness for
about one year before beginning to deteriorate. Whole spices will last up to
three years. Store spices and herbs in a cool, dry, and dark place. Because
the refrigerator is a humid environment, storing spices in there is not
recommended. Storing sealed containers of spices in the freezer is a better
choice.
